On September 21st, the 1293 China Europe freight train, loaded with car parts, daily necessities, and other goods, set off from the Erenhot railway port and headed to Europe, marking the breakthrough of the China Europe freight train channel's annual train traffic volume of over 3500 trains. The Erenhot Railway Port is an import and export port for China Europe freight trains. As of September 20th, the port has imported and exported 3.3208 million tons of China Europe freight trains this year, a year-on-year increase of 25.11%, and the freight volume has reached a new historical high for the same period. At present, there are 76 China Europe freight train routes operating through this port, connecting more than 70 hub stations in over 10 countries including Germany and Poland, and radiating to most cities of China Europe freight trains domestically. The categories of goods being transported continue to be optimized. In addition to mechanical and electrical products, daily necessities, and raw materials, the proportion of high value-added "Made in China" products such as new energy vehicle parts, high-end machinery and equipment, and household appliances is steadily increasing. Since the beginning of this year, the railway department, together with customs, border inspection and other units, has continuously optimized the port operation process based on the 95306 "Digital Port" system and the "Railway Express" model, opened up a green channel for trains, and shortened the port inspection time to about 30 minutes. As an important land artery of the China Mongolia Russia Economic Corridor, the China Europe Railway Express Central Passage, with its stable and efficient transportation advantages, continues to ensure the smooth flow of cross-border industrial and supply chains, and builds a reliable Asia Europe logistics channel for domestic and foreign trade enterprises to export, helping to deepen and solidify the opening up to the north.
